Please always take an appointment before visiting us in London(if you are not already a student), this is to ensure that someone will be there to show you around and answer your questions. How many students in one class?
This varies from the type of class. As a rule of thumb we organise small group lessons in order to enhance your experience. Beginner classes tend to be bigger than other levels. In average our classes have 6/8 students. Will I be able to practice the the French language?
Yes the classes are based on the Communicative method. There are many ways to learn a language but we believe that this is the best methodology available today. Lessons are simply structured to create the environment for interactive learning. You will be solving problems with your fellow classmates, such as going to the restaurant, going to a job interview, organising a party or a holiday and so on, and this is all done in the target language (French) while discovering new words and the French grammar.I am a total beginner how will I benefit from this method?
Children learn a language by just hearing their parents, the human brain is naturally structured in a way to adapt to new stimuli and new environments. We simply try to recreate under the teacher's control a situation where you need to use the language. Lessons are gradual and the teachers uses mimes, drawings, examples, flash cards to get the message across.Occasionally beginners will experience a "silence period" during the initial phases of the courses, this is your brain is making re-arrangements and re-wiring in the language area, and it does not mean that you are not learning however you will need time for this re-adjustment.
How long before I can speak fluently?
We get this question a lot, unfortunately it is very difficult to estimate a time frame. This is down to the personal situation of the student such as previous language knowledge (knowning other languages helps), general education, age, current emotional state, and motivation is one of the biggest players in this game.Generally speaking the beginner level is 100 hours of classroom study.
I have studied before, in what level should I enroll to?

We supply the classroom materials in form of photocopied handout, however we can recommend a course book if you wish to purchase one.Learning the French Language Articles
